The Redondo Beach Hotel strives to maintain compliance with the World Wide Web’s Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 Level AA (WCAG 2.1 AA) on our website, and:

  • We have built our website using standard-compliant HTML and CSS
  • We have ensured that the website content is structured in a logical manner using informative headings and labels where relevant, and are usable by customers who use assistive technology/screen readers.
  • We have provided consistent navigation across the website
  • We have ensured that images have alternative texts and descriptive links
  • In addition, we will offer rooms with accessibility features, which may be booked through www.theredondo.com.

Note: A guest laundry room is provided at this location but it is not currently accessible.

Accessible Guest Rooms

Accessible guest rooms provide double queen beds or a single king bed.

The accessible features of the accessible guest rooms with mobility features include: tactile signage, 32” minimum wide doors, lever hardware, a lowered privacy peephole, turning clearance within the room, an accessible desk, electrical outlet adjacent to phone for TTY use, accessible thermostat controls, closets with lowered clothes rods and shelves, clearance adjacent to beds for wheelchair transfer, and patio access, where applicable.

The accessible features of the guest room bathroom include: 32” minimum wide doors, lever hardware, accessible lavatory with knee clearance and wrapped pipes, a toilet with compliant clearances for transfer and grab bars at the side and rear of the toilet, accessible accessories. The accessible bathtub features include: clear floor space adjacent to the tub, two parallel grab bars at the back wall, a control end grab bar, a head end grab bar, accessible controls, an adjustable hand-held spray unit.
The accessible roll-in shower features include: a flush entry, a fixed shower seat, grab bars, accessible controls, and an adjustable hand-held spray unit.
